WSTA Anti-Racist Reading List
WSTA Special Elections
WSTA recognizes that racism exists overtly and subtly and is institutionalized broadly in American culture, business, and government.
In an effort to facilitate powerful discussions and more structured educational opportunities, we are offering a list of anti-racist resources for teachers compiled by one of our members, Stephanie Kugler.
As educators, we have the responsibility to step out and promote change that is necessary to provide an equitable future for our students.
WSTA is conducting a special election for an empty Executive Board seat for the term ending June 2021.
The election will open for voting on Tuesday, November 3rd at 8:00 am and close Tuesday, November 10th at 5:00 pm.
Results will be made public and candidates will be notified that evening at 6:00 pm.
