West Sacramento educators believe that the students in our community deserve fully staffed schools with highly qualified and dedicated teachers. But instead of providing what our students need, the Washington Unified School District has stashed $16 million dollars (12% of the budget). All this while our Superintendent and Chief Business officer have secured themselves a handsome raise every single year on an ongoing basis.

These resources are desperately needed to retain, recruit and train the educators our students need. That’s why West Sacramento Teachers, community members, and families are coming together. Join us on Wednesday the 10th as we meet in front of each school in the district 1 hour before start time.
